Our institution is committed to creating an environment across all CMTN campuses where students and employees feel protected, valued, and supported.Duties:Reporting to the Food Services Coordinator, this position will provide responsive, friendly service ensuring customers are satisfied with their experience in the café/ cafeteria and/or at off-site events.Tasks include but are not limited to the following:Interacting with customers in a manner that provides a positive customer experience, addressing minor customer complaints as they arisePrepare menu items in accordance with customer orders including the use of espresso machine and blendersOperate cash register, visa/debit machine and deposit cashEnsuring that work areas are ready to service customers (i.E.: cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors, removing trash, and confirming that tools are in working order)Follow all established food safety and sanitation proceduresOther duties of similar scope and complexity as assignedQualificationsQualifications:Grade 12 education (or equivalent) is required.



Food Safe and Serving-it-Right certificates are required and willing to learn. Preference will also be given to candidates with recent experience in food services.
