Base pay range
$150.00/hr - $150.00/hr
Mercor is recruiting U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/East Asia-based Finance Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.
You are a positive fit if you
- Have at least 2 years of experience working at top firms in investment banking or private equity and experience in at least one of the following
- Product groups
- Restructuring & Distressed Investing
- PIPE (private investment in public equities) / convertible security models
- IPO modeling
- Coverage groups
- Biotech
- Gaming & lodging
- Telecom
Role details
- The work is fully asynchronous and can be done around your schedule
- You must be able to commit at least 20 hours per week for this role
- This contract is expected to last till December
- Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor
- The vetting process involves:
- ~10 minute behavioral interview asking about previous deals you’ve worked on
- Technical assessment (< 30 minutes) evaluating financial expertise
- One 2h paid assessment of modeling skills
Pay and legal status
- This role will pay $150/hour
- We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect based on the number of hours you log
- You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor
- Please note that we cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates
