Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Having a car is required to be able to visit multiple locations. This vital role ensures that our facilities remain pristine and well-maintained, supporting the health and productivity of everyone who enters.

As a Janitor/Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, maintaining cleanliness standards, and assisting with basic facilities maintenance as well as tenant change overs. Painting experience an asset. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will contribute directly to creating a positive atmosphere for staff, visitors, and clients alike.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of all common areas including floors, stairs, restrooms, offices, hallways, laundry rooms, and storage areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Assist with tenant changeovers. Removing garbage, furniture (with assistance) and disposing in appropriate manner. Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and unit common areas.
- Painting
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine
- Request supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap dispensers, and other consumables as needed




- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others
- Knowledge of cleaning products and how to use basic maintenace equipment.
- Experience
- Prior experience in janitorial services.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and climbing ladders when necessary
- Painting skills, ability to paint rooms.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in all cleaning tasks

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
