Role Summary

The Financial Services Associate is a senior member of the branch sales and leadership team. The role focuses on understanding Member financial needs, providing tailored advice, recommending Meridian products, and driving revenue through responsible credit and investment solutions.

Responsibilities

- Identify and analyze Members’ financial goals and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Provide investment advice and complete credit approvals within policy limits.
- Open new Member accounts using targeted strategies.
- Generate sales and revenue through cross‑sell initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong Member relationships and deepen engagement.
- Contribute to branch planning, execute strategic initiatives, and support business goals.
- Adopt virtual technologies to conduct remote meetings and enhance service.
- Maintain compliance with all policies, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong business acumen and sound knowledge of financial products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative skills.
- Experience in sales‑generated revenue and client relationship management.




- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and passion for Member experience.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work collaboratively.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

Benefits & Compensation

- Salary range: CAD $52,000 – $78,000 annually.
