Job summary

Western Canadian Mechanical is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing service team.

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Assist with preventative maintenance inspections
- Work on RTUs, MUAs and related mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems
- Complete accurate service reports and document findings
- Communicate equipment deficiencies and recommended repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and work area
- Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
- Participate in the on-call rotation when required
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, and refrigeration units.
- Respond to service calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a good relationship with current and future clients
- Collaborate with other technicians to build and modify systems
- Maintain mechanical knowledge of appliances, boilers, and other related equipment to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications





- Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
- Solid electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience servicing boilers, controls, and commercial HVAC equipment is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Legally able to work in Canada
