This role entails preparing meals for patients and veterans under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year of cooking experience, preferably with baking skills, and possess effective communication abilities. You will be responsible for maintaining sanitation while serving meals at both Camp Hill and eventually Dartmouth General Hospital. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare standardized recipes for patients and residents
- Maintain high sanitation and food safety standards
- Occasionally fulfill made-to-order options for veterans
- Work collaboratively under supervision in a team environment
- Support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Minimum of 1 year cooking experience preferred
- Baking skills are a valuable asset
- Courteous communication with patients and customers
