- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive basics)
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell preferred) for administration and troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN basics)
- Comfort working in a ticketing/ITSM tool (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Zendesk)
- Experience supporting remote users using remote support tools and secure access methods
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender (or comparable endpoint/security tooling)

- Working knowledge of Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting
- Exposure to Linux environments (basic CLI, file permissions, services)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bonus: familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Bicep, ARM templates)
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
- Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
- Linux Essentials or similar

Key Responsibilities

- Endpoint management: Assist with configuring and managing Windows devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Windows Autopilot.
- User support: Provide friendly, responsive technical support to employees, escalating issues as needed and documenting resolutions.
- Windows device operations: Support patching, troubleshooting, and day‑to‑day performance of Windows endpoints.
- Procurement, inventory & asset management: Assist with purchasing, receiving, inventory management (tagging, tracking, stock levels), periodic audits, and lifecycle management for laptops, monitors, peripherals, and other IT assets.
- Device setup, shipping & deployment: Prepare, configure, package, and ship new devices (and coordinate returns) according to company standards and security baselines,

including tracking shipments and confirming delivery.
- Cloud administration (Azure): Assist with day‑to‑day administration of Azure resources (access, basic monitoring, and documentation) to help keep the environment secure and reliable.
- Security support: Support basic security operations, including reviewing alerts and helping maintain controls using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft 365 security features.
- Identity & access (Entra ID): Assist with user lifecycle tasks (onboarding/offboarding), group management, role‑based access, and MFA/Conditional Access support following established runbooks.
- Microsoft 365 administration: Support day‑to‑day administration and troubleshooting across Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive permissions).
- Onboarding & offboarding: Coordinate account creation/removal, device provisioning/returns, and access changes to support a secure joiner/mover/leaver process.
- Documentation & continuous improvement: Create and maintain IT documentation (SOPs, onboarding guides, asset records), and suggest improvements to reduce recurring issues.
- Ticketing & IT operations: Manage and prioritize incoming requests in the ticketing system, follow SLAs, and ensure work is tracked to completion.
- Automation: Use basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, PowerAutomate) to automate repetitive tasks and produce easy reports where helpful.

Please Note: We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
