Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Stylist / Hair Assistant to join our vibrant salon team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in hair styling, customer service, and salon operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty and dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences while supporting the stylists and ensuring the smooth running of daily salon activities.

Duties

- Assist senior stylists with hair styling, blowouts, and treatments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Greet clients warmly at the front desk, check appointments, and manage scheduling.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the salon environment.
- Upsell retail products and promote additional services to clients to enhance their experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their comfort during visits.
- Support with retail sales by recommending products suited to clients’ needs.
- Handle front desk responsibilities including check-in/check-out procedures, managing appointments, and processing payments.




- Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring all salon areas are organized and professional.

Qualifications

- Previous experience of Hair styling or Hair Assistant
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and team members effectively.
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques or a keen interest in developing these skills.
- Understanding of sanitation standards within a salon environment.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
