Role Description The Landscape Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Oakville, ON, responsible for leading a crew in daily landscape operations. This role oversees the execution of landscape construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing job sites, assigning tasks, operating and monitoring equipment, reading and implementing landscape plans, and coordinating materials and supplies.

The Landscape

Foreman communicates with project managers and clients as needed, tracks progress, and ensures compliance with company procedures and safety regulations. This position also involves training crew members,



troubleshooting on-site issues, and maintaining a clean and orderly work env ironment. Qualifications

Strong skills in Landscape Maintenance and Landscape Management and Horticulture, with experience supervising crews and coordinating daily tasks.

Proficiency in Landscape Construction, including hardscaping, grading, and installation of plant materials and related site features.

Understanding of Landscape Design principles to interpret plans, layouts, and specifications on job sites.

Previous experience in a foreman or lead hand role in landscaping or a closely related field.

Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely, with a strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and direct crew members.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; eligibility to work in office in Oakville, ON.

Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
