We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and organized efficiently. Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, uniforms, and personal garments.
- Inspect laundry for stains or damages and take appropriate action.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas.
- Ensure proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents in accordance with safety protocols.
- Track inventory of laundry supplies and report any shortages.
- Assist with special requests from guests or staff regarding laundry services.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests.
