As a Director of Software Development, you will have end-to-end ownership of a technology platform, leading teams responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and operating high-quality, scalable software solutions. This role requires strong people leadership, technical depth, and the ability to deliver reliable platforms in a fast-paced, regulated Fintech environment.What you'll do:Own the technology platform lifecycle from technical requirements through scalable, secure, and resilient production operationsLead, mentor, and manage high-performing software engineering teams through rapid, high-quality development cyclesPartner closely with Product Management to define product roadmaps, technical strategies, and delivery plans aligned with business objectivesTranslate product requirements into clear engineering specifications, designs, and implementation plansLead Agile delivery practices, ensuring consistent execution,



predictable delivery, and continuous improvementOversee project planning, execution, and reporting; manage team capacity, priorities, and dependencies to ensure milestones are met with quality and accountabilityOwn end-to-end system design, development, and integration across internal platforms, external partners, and third-party servicesEnsure platform resiliency, availability, performance, security, and currency through proactive engineering and operational excellenceEstablish and enforce development standards, best practices, and code review processesDrive effective stakeholder communication across product, engineering, operations, and senior leadership, providing transparency into delivery status and risksBuild strong, trust-based relationships with team members; translate company vision into actionable goals and empower teams to executeManage vendor relationships and geographically distributed teams to enable continuous development and accelerated, high-quality releasesDefine, track, and report on internal and external OKRs and KPIs, providing insights to senior leadership on progress, outcomes, and opportunities for improvementExperience you'll need to have:10+ years of experience in software development,



including hands-on technical experience3+ years of experience leading and managing software development teamsStrong experience with modern cloud and DevOps environments (e.G., AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, distributed systems with high availability and security requirements.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience that would be outstanding to have:Experience building and operating large-scale, highly available fintech or payments platformsFamiliarity with regulatory, compliance, and security requirements in financial servicesExperience leading distributed or globally located engineering teamsHow you'll work:the company emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech.
