Join the Marmot Basin team as a Lead Snowmaker in Jasper, Alberta. Oversee snowmaking operations, manage staff training, and ensure excellent service throughout the department. Reporting to the Grooming/Snowmaking Supervisor, the Lead Snowmaker plays a vital role in daily operations and staff management in the Snowmaking department.

This full-time, seasonal position requires active leadership in snowgun maintenance, team training, and maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates will demonstrate thorough knowledge of snowmaking procedures and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily snowmaking operations and staff activities
- Implement staff training and compliance with company policies




- Maintain and troubleshoot snowmaking equipment effectively
- Coordinate with other departments to meet snowmaking needs
- Attend weekly meetings for quality inspections and updates Requirements:
- 18 years or older with relevant snowmaking experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and previous supervisory experience
- Familiarity with snowmaking terrain and coverage requirements
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license in valuable standing
- Alberta Intermediate First Aid certificate or equivalent Embrace winter work outdoors and lead effective snowmaking at Marmot Basin.
