Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming setting across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable skills in facilities maintenance and customer service.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for specific maintenance tasks as needed
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance to ensure safety and functionality of the environment
- Operate cleaning machinery and equipment efficiently and safely
- Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or equipment
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any cleaning-related concerns promptly and professionally

Experience

- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all necessary skills
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks required for maintaining large facilities
- Previous roles involving customer service or client interaction are beneficial but not essential
