Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Support the team during busy service periods by ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and uphold high standards of food quality.

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices for maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.
- Experience in meal preparation and working with diverse ingredients in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of the importance of food safety standards within the food industry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy pots or ingredients, and work efficiently under pressure.
