Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service. This role involves preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The Line Cook will work in a fast-paced workplace, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards while supporting the overall operations of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils regularly
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation before serving




- Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold food safety standards
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs

Experience

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
