Reporting to the Aftermarket Sales Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and internal sales teams by providing expert technical guidance on HVAC parts and aftermarket solutions. This hands‑on role combines technical product expertise, customer service, counter sales, and warehouse operations to ensure customers receive accurate solutions, exceptional service, and timely order fulfillment.What You’ll Be DoingProvide technical support and recommendations for HVAC systems, replacement parts, and aftermarket solutions to customers and internal sales teamsInterpret technical drawings, specifications,



and equipment requirements to accurately identify replacement componentsTroubleshoot customer inquiries and recommend repair, replacement, retrofit, or upgrade solutionsIdentify opportunities to grow aftermarket and replacement parts sales through proactive customer supportBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering responsive, knowledgeable serviceProcess quotations, sales orders, returns, and customer inquiries accurately and efficientlyAssist walk-in customers at the parts counter with product selection and technical supportPick, pack, ship, receive, inspect, and stock inventory while maintaining accurate inventory recordsSupport cycle counts and inventory control activities to ensure inventory accuracyCut custom air filters to customer specifications as requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and counter sales environmentStay current on HVAC products, manufacturers, and industry developmentsOther responsibilities as assignedWhat You BringPost-secondary education in HVAC, Mechanical Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceRefrigeration Mechanic and/or G1 Gas Technician certification strongly preferredIf licensed,



membership in good standing with the Ontario College of TradesMinimum five (5) years of experience in HVAC parts sales or a related technical HVAC environmentStrong knowledge of HVAC equipment, components, replacement parts, and aftermarket applicationsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specificationsExperience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and recommending replacement or retrofit solutionsExperience providing exceptional customer service in a parts counter or technical sales environmentWorking knowledge of inventory management systems and standard computer applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical customersStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative teamForklift experience or certification considered an assetAccessibility CommitmentAt O’Dell HVAC Group, we’re all about building a workplace where everyone can thrive.
