Job Summary: The Lunch Time and After school Daycare Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, organized, and efficient delivery of the school’s lunch program. This role includes supervising a team of lunch monitors and ensuring that students are properly supported during lunch distribution, eating time, and outdoor recess (mainly Preschool to grade 2). Additionally, responsibilities include relevant administrative details (calls emails) and overseeing and monitoring the after school daycare program.

The supervisor promotes a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision and Coordination

Lunch Organization and Distribution

Classroom Supervision (During Lunch)

Transition to Outdoor Recess

Outdoor Supervision

Return to Class

Relevant administrative duties

After school Daycare Programming and Monitoring

Safety and Compliance

Qualifications:

- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting preferred




- Robust leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage groups of students and supervise staff effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Calm, patient, and professional demeanor

Working Conditions:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays and PED days) 10:00am to 6:00pm
- Work takes place indoors and outdoors (in varying weather conditions)
- Requires standing, walking, using stairs and active supervision throughout the shift
