Job Summary: The Lunch Time and After school Daycare Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, organized, and efficient delivery of the school’s lunch program. This role includes supervising a team of lunch monitors and ensuring that students are properly supported during lunch distribution, eating time, and outdoor recess (mainly grades 3-6). Additionally, responsibilities include relevant administrative details (calls, emails, interviews and hiring), lunchtime reception replacement, and overseeing and monitoring the after school daycare program.

The supervisor promotes a positive, respectful, and safe setting for all students.

Return to Class

Relevant administrative duties

Qualifications:





- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage groups of students and supervise staff effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Calm, patient, and professional demeanor

Working Conditions:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays and PED days) 10:00am to 6:00pm
- Work takes place indoors and outdoors (in varying weather conditions)
- Requires standing, walking, using stairs and active supervision throughout the shift
