As a Technician II - Security with Bosh Building Technologies, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.ResponsibilitiesInstalling and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarmsPre‑wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenancePrepares and executes Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future service needsAssist in system design and layoutProvide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiriesRelationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunitiesAdministrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentationSupport, lead, and mentor team membersDesign systems and layoutMaintain a high level of safety and professionalismLead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessaryWork at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or otherWork in confined spaces as necessaryPerform other tasks as requiredRequired Qualifications3 - 5 years prior experience in a technical role within the integrated security industryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsValid Driver’s License with clean abstractAbility to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industryAbility to lift 50lbs consistentlyAble to work independentlyStrong interpersonal skillsShift work 5pm - 12am may be requiredPreferred QualificationsPostsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an assetVendor Certification in low voltage systems is preferredSalary Range$27.70ph - $38.91 (DOE)Vacancy StatusThis posting is for a current and existing vacancyPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
