Position #: 155730 Expected Start Date: August 25, 2026 Union: CUPE Facility: Wawota Memorial Health Centre City/Town: Wawota Department: Plant Maintenance Type: Casual FTE: 0 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Relief: No Float: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 11 $22.600 to $24.210 (3 step range) Travel Required: No : Performs general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds and buildings.
Human Resources Exemption: No Experience One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial) Education Fireman Boiler Operator certificate Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act Other Education and Training Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required.
Pool Operator certificate, where required Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job Competencies Basic - Computer skills Interpersonal skills Organizational skills Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work independently Knowledge of tools and equipment Other Information Official Description at: //www.working-for-health.ca/supportjobevaluation * No guaranteed hours.
