The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for equipment and/or facility maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will be expected to continuously monitor and investigate improvements to equipment and/or maintenance procedures to ensure maximum uptime and effectiveness.

Duties
- Preventive Maintenance of Equipment
- Electrical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic Repairs
- Troubleshooting Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
- May include fabrication (machining) of custom tooling/equipment
- May include calibration of test equipment
- Maintain consumables and spares availability
- Chemical Handling and Fluid Analysis
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Selection and sourcing of production/facility equipment
- Continually improve the preventive maintenance and equipment monitoring activities

$25.00 to $30.00 / hr

Required Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical circuit diagrams
- Basic mathematics skills
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

Education
- Minimum grade 12
- Preferred diploma in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent maintenance experience
