We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various equipment and systems within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, industrial maintenance practices, and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Fabricate and modify components as needed to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot industrial machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
Work with logic controllers to diagnose and resolve issues in automated systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functionality.
- Analyze problems systematically to implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately for compliance and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Robust knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems effectively.
- Certification or training in industrial electrician practices is a plus.
- A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance in all maintenance activities.
