Our offerings provide authentic, engaging and meaningful learning experiences that help youth build:A sense of excitement about their educationA sense of belonging within their program and at SAITA sense of preparedness for their futureA sense of confidence in their ability to succeedWe are currently recruiting a casual hourly Aviation Maintenance Instructor to support dual‑credit programming and help equip the next generation of aviation professionals. If you are a positive,
highly motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a Transport Canada AME “M” license, we encourage you to apply.Deliver the ASYS‑245 dual‑credit course in alignment with SAIT policies, ethics and best practicesPrepare and deliver lessons, lectures, assignments, quizzes, exams and demonstrationsMaintain accurate records for grading, professionalism assessments and attendance tracking in theory and lab settingsShare attendance and achievement data with internal and external stakeholders in accordance with POPAManage classroom and lab environments to ensure a positive, secure learning experience aligned with SAIT’s Minors on Campus and child‑safeguarding policiesBuild rapport with learners and foster a supportive, inclusive climateProvide ongoing guidance and communicate regularly with school‑board partner representativesAssist in curriculum development, including adapting content for younger learnersOversee the student lab environment, including scheduling, equipment use and proper storageMaintain strong connections with industry partners, SAIT Youth Initiatives and school boardsParticipate in curriculum and program reviews related to dual‑credit deliveryRelevant post‑secondary education (minimum two‑year diploma from a recognized institution)Minimum five years of related industry experienceLicensed AMEExperience and genuine interest in working with junior high and high school youthDual‑credit teaching experience is an assetExcellent communication skills,
