In‑House Counsel – Canada The In‑House Counsel provides advice and assistance on contractual and legal issues during the preparation of commercial bids, tenders and proposals, contract negotiations, contract management and performance, and dispute resolution. The role independently handles complex and multi‑domain cases, analyzes contractual and financial risks, and proposes appropriate solutions. Responsibilities Apply the Group’s Quality, Safety and Environmental policies. Provide legal support in bids and tenders. Provide legal support in contract management and performance of works contracts. Advises and assists internal clients on general legal and contractual issues. Handle claims, disputes and litigation cases. Monitor and administratively manage cases. Contribute to a positive work environment as a team player. Qualifications Bachelor of Laws (Juris Doctor)
from a Canadian university; double degree in commonlaw and civil law. Canadian qualified lawyer. Approximately 5‑10 years of experience in corporate, public procurement contracts and/or contract law. Autonomy, rigor, integrity, discretion, flexibility and availability. Bilingual in English and French. Work experience in infrastructure law and/or private and public tenders is a plus. Compensation & Perks Expected salary range $150,000 to $200,000 annually.
