Join MCI as a Manufacturing Engineer and play a pivotal role in enhancing production efficiency for luxury motor coaches. Contribute to creative builds and ongoing system improvements in a dynamic setting. In this role, you will directly assist the production team with new system builds and revisions.
You'll tackle production planning tasks, route assembly sequences, and participate in audits and root cause analysis to ensure precision. Continuous improvement is key, as you will also engage in lean initiatives to drive cost reductions and process enhancements. Key Responsibilities:
- Support production with builds of new or revised systems
- Ensure readiness of the plant for upcoming coach builds
- Provide routing and assembly sequencing for production
- Suggest and implement cost-saving projects
- Create necessary documentation for assembly precision Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 1-5 years' experience in a manufacturing context
- Experience with Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies
- Ability to interpret engineering documentation
- Proven communication and teamwork abilities Utilize your engineering acumen to advance MCI's manufacturing processes and product quality.
