Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world. Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development,and performance management of the staff.

Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and, at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Leads and manages the operations functions, which may include production manufacturing engineering, manufacturing process, quality, and activities from production planning to shipment.

He/she drives the production team to implement improvements on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.

Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.

Directs subordinates to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.





Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

Monitors daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.

Provides operational support in the manufacture of final assemblies, complex subassemblies, and systems.

Supports the transition of recent products (NPI) into sustaining production as required.

Assists in materials evaluation and testing.

May interface with customers and suppliers on technical issues.

Supports group members’ development plans and ensures effective succession planning. Previous experience directing the development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.

Experience managing the activities of a team, including developing schedules and staffing requirements for assigned areas, making staffing decisions, training and development and performance management, including evaluating staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Experience prioritizing production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.

Previous management experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset. Able to obtain your Controlled Goods Certification, as well as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Clearance. This role is for our Evening Shift (Monday-Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am)
