Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain team. Duties

- Coordinate procurement activities by sourcing materials through suppliers and negotiating favorable terms to ensure cost-effective purchasing aligned with demand planning forecasts.
- Manage inventory levels using ERP systems such as AS400 and warehouse management systems to maintain optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
- Oversee warehouse distribution operations, including order fulfillment, materials handling, and storage logistics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize data mining, analysis skills, and data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau to monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support sourcing initiatives by evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts,



and ensuring procurement compliance across all channels including e-commerce platforms.
- Operate forklifts safely when required for materials movement within warehouses or distribution centers.

Skills

- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data mining, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Expertise in demand planning, MRP systems, procurement processes, and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with a thorough understanding of purchasing strategies across retail or e-commerce sectors.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets for process improvement opportunities; strong analysis skills are essential.
- Experience operating forklifts safely; relevant certification preferred.
- Familiarity with retail merchandising practices and order fulfillment procedures within rapid-moving environments.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams including procurement, logistics, retail management, and suppliers.
