The Opportunity Metro Testing + Engineering is hiring for a Laboratory Technician to perform testing on concrete and other construction materials at their Burnaby branch office.

Responsibilities Organizing and demolding cubes and cube molds

Trimming samples

Capping Cores

Preparing Air void Test samples (polishing)

Low strength compressive tests

Back-up dispatch and data entry duties

Other duties as required Qualifications Previous experience in a materials testing lab is an asset

Great attitude and willingness to learn

Positive written and verbal communication skills
