Stocking and Merchandising

Stocking packaged meat products in the display cases.

Ensuring that the display area is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing to customers.

Rotating products to ensure older stock is used first (first-in, first-out method).

Quality Control

Inspecting meat products for freshness and ensuring they meet the store's quality standards.

Disposing of any expired or spoiled products according to health and safety regulations.

Health and Safety Compliance

Adhering to food safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.

Ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and maintained according to store policy.

Customer Service

Assisting customers with inquiries about meat products and helping them find specific cuts or types of meat.

Taking special orders or custom packaging requests from customers.

Inventory Management Support

Assisting with inventory checks and reporting low stock or issues to the Meat Department Manager or Director.
