At PwC, our finance consulting team specializes in providing consulting services related to financial management and strategy. We analyze client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance to help clients optimize their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities Engage in challenging and rewarding engagements with multidisciplinary teams. Conduct organizational diagnostics on financial processes. Define business requirements for acquisition and application configuration of EPM tools. Conduct analyses to support process performance measurement and improvement initiatives (e.G., costing, cost-benefit, benchmarking). Establish credibility with existing and new clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledge in finance. Lead vendor and software selection, including business requirements gathering. Lead or participate in diagnostics on financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and dashboard. Support the engagement director/partner in managing engagement risk and project economics. Define and manage scope and objectives. Develop and foster relationships with client leaders and stakeholders. Identify, monitor, and help resolve project issues and risks. Coach and train junior team members on technical and project management aspects of engagement. Prepare deliverable content and review deliverables to ensure they meet PwC and client quality expectations. Participate in proposal development and contribute to proposal writing. Team with PwC colleagues in other lines of services to support client needs for Finance Consulting services. Support development of thought leadership and point-of-view documents. Share knowledge across the global PwC network. Provide input and guidance into the firm’s staffing/resource management process.
Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities. Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage personal development. Required Experience and Skills 5–7+ years in consulting and software implementation. Hands‑on experience with leading EPM applications such as OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle EPM, or SAP EPM. Experience with multi-dimensional data models (dimensions, hierarchies, attributes). Experience building input templates and reports. Understanding of data integration and ETL concepts. Familiarity with calculations (allocation, top-down spreading, currencies). Knowledge of workflow, data permissions, and security. MBA and/or CPA designation is an asset. Certification on one or more leading EPM applications is a plus. Solid background in performance management, record-to-report, planning, and budgeting. Demonstrated experience in transformational initiatives with strategy, operations, and technology focus. Proven commitment to diversity, coaching, and inclusive team building. Demonstrated project management skills. For opportunities in Quebec, fluency in French and English is required; outside Quebec, proficiency in French is an asset. Regular communication with clients and stakeholders primarily in English. Compensation The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres and may vary for other locations.
