Join as a Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician, playing a vital role in assessing and treating clients with complex needs related to substance misuse and mental health issues. Work in an integrated team to help improve client outcomes. As a part of this role, you will need a Master's degree in Behavioral Health and gain three years of professional experience assisting individuals experiencing mental illness.
You will independently provide screenings and develop tailored treatment plans, while promoting engagement in the therapeutic process through education and support. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments for patients
- Deliver individual, couples, and group therapy
- Maintain collaborative relationships with clients and resources
- Engage with and contribute to team development efforts
- Attend professional development and case conferences Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Behavioral Health required
- Three years of experience with substance use clients
- Valid BC Driver’s License needed for travel
- In-depth knowledge of DSM V and psychopharmacology
