Become the Team Leader of the Assertive Community Treatment Team at CMHA Kenora, specializing in mental health support. The successful candidate will supervise the ACT Team, ensuring the delivery of effective treatment services to clients with persistent mental illnesses.
Ideal applicants will have a background in social work or nursing, along with experience in team management and mental health settings. This role includes client assessments and collaboration with community resources. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the operational functions of the ACT Team
- Support clinical decision-making through supervision
- Participate in team training, recruitment, and performance appraisals
- Conduct client assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with safety and health standards Requirements:
- Registered in a relevant health profession (BSW, MSW)
- Experience in the mental health field necessary
- Knowledge of local community health resources
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
