This position is based in Central Zone at the Nova Scotia Hospital, providing casual relief support under the guidance of a Recreation Therapist.

You'll be responsible for delivering health promotion and therapeutic activities, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patients receive individualized care tailored to their needs. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver health promotion and therapeutic activities to patients
- Work closely with Registered Nurses and Recreation Therapists
- Effectively share significant patient information with the team




- Participate in the development of personalized care plans
- Support and enhance patient recovery and well-being Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 and Therapeutic Recreation Year One
- Valid CPR certification required

John Ambulance First

Aid certification preferred

- Non Violent Crisis Intervention certification is an asset
