About the Role Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting, the Corporate Accountant is responsible for managing the corporate accounting function for the Toronto corporate office, including payroll processing (for both local and expatriate employees), monthly accounting close activities such as accruals, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations, and providing expertise and support to our Mexican office. Experience with SAP, Concur, and Dayforce is highly valued. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to join our Toronto-based Finance team. What We're Looking for Qualifications CPA designation preferred Experience & Skills 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable & Payroll Experience with SAP, Concur, or other accounting software is a robust asset. Experience with Dayforce or other third-party payroll software preferred Experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Experience in preparing and reconciling payroll for both local and expatriate employees. Advanced proficiency in Excel skills required Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Key Accountabilities Payroll – Corporate Support semi-monthly payroll processing, including benefits, RRSP adjustments, and Director fees Record payroll entries in SAP and ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting Collaborate with HR on payroll master data updates and special calculations Assist with annual filings and government remittances (e.G., T4s, EHT) Payroll – Expatriates Calculate and process semi-monthly payroll and tax withholdings for expat employees Coordinate
