Take the lead as a Nurse Practitioner in the outpatient Regional Eating Disorders Program at Timmins and District Hospital. Provide expert assessments and ongoing treatment for individuals with eating disorders.
As an integral part of the healthcare team, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, prescribe treatment, and assist in managing metabolic disorders related to psychiatric health. This position demands robust communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care while being part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide screening, assessment, and intervention services
• Foster therapeutic relationships with clients and families
• Interpret diagnostic tests and manage patient care plans
• Implement interventions in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Engage in quality improvement and documentation processes
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse Extended Class License in Ontario
• Minimum of 2 years NP experience required
• Experience in mental health and eating disorders necessary
• Current CPR/BLS certification mandatory
• Fluency in both English and French is required
