This is a full-time Mobile Application Developer role based in Calgary, AB.

The Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications that support RigER’s oilfield job management platform, with a focus on usability, performance, and reliability.

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, fixing bugs, optimizing existing code, and collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive mobile solutions.

The role involves writing clean, well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architecture and technical decisions for mobile products.

The developer will also assist with app deployment,



monitoring, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless online and offline experiences for field teams.

Qualifications Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience building and maintaining Mobile Applications for iOS or cross-platform environments.

Must have 2 years of Flutter experience.

Proficiency in Application Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including designing modular, testable, and maintainable code.

Hands-on experience with iOS Development, including working with relevant frameworks, SDKs, and App Store deployment processes.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with cloud-based backends and databases.

Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile applications for performance, security, and reliability.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a hybrid workplace.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in industrial, field service, or energy sector software is a plus, as well as familiarity with offline-first app design and analytics tools.
