Company Description Lamko Tool & Mould Inc. is a world class supplier of injection molds for the automotive industry. We pride ourselves on producing quality molds, at moderate cost, with on time delivery. Currently we are looking for mold designers. Role Description:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Mold Designer will play a key role in planning and designing new molds to suit the customer’s specifications. They will also be responsible for front-line troubleshooting and problem resolution relating to the machining and final assembly of the mold on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to:

3+ years’ experience in NX 3D modeling, NX mold design experience

3+ years of hands-on experience with injection mold design

Robust skills in

-Problem solving relating to mold design

-Communicating

-Time management abilities Duties:





Responsible for reviewing customer files and lining up for manufacturing process

Design & Detail Drawings

Issues files to the manufacturing team

Ordering job materials as required

Providing support for manufacturing

Available to work flexible hours when required

Assist with the planning and processing of BOM’s

Ensure all customer requirements and engineering procedures are followed and documented as required

Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications

3-year College Diploma in Machine Design, Manufacturing Technology, Mold Maker, Tool and Mold Design or equivalent program

Minimum 3 years of experience and knowledge of 3D mold design

Minimum 3 years of experience in the mold fabrication process

Working knowledge of NX

Working knowledge of manufacturing process
