Friend Bakery and Pizza, located in the heart of South Osborne, is seeking a skilled and passionate baker to join our morning team! As a morning baker you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads and sweets in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your baking skills and contribute to the success of our bakery.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing, shaping and baking doughs
- Follow recipes and adhere to quality standards to produce consistent results
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other baking tools
- Collaborate with the team to plan production schedules and fulfill orders in a timely manner
- Able to carry mid to heavy ingredients




- Following health guidelines and maintain cleanliness standards

Requirements:

- Available early mornings weekdays and weekends
- Experience with sourdough, other rustic breads and large volume buns/breads an asset
- Minimum 2 years experience in a bakery or similar work workplace
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail
