Accountant

Location : Toronto, Ontario

Schedule: Mon- Fri, 8:30- 5:00

Hybrid: 4 days on site

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

- Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Process mutual fund trades and settlements. Investigate and resolve transaction breaks and discrepancies.

Handle FundSERV transactions and money movements.

Use Excel macros to support operational processes.

Provide customer service and respond to inquiries.

Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory procedures.

- How much time is being spent in meetings – 15 min daily huddle.
- Who are they interacting with (internal/external) – Internal
- Will the contractor have access to any customer data? YES!

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, pivots, macros) Banking/Financial experience Tech Savvy- ability to pick up internal systems quickly Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook and Excel).
