Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nanny for Infant to provide exceptional care and support for our youngest family member. This energetic and compassionate caregiver will create a secure, engaging, and loving environment that promotes healthy development and well-being. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive to detail, and passionate about fostering a positive experience for both the infant and family.

The candidate should be comfortable around pets, as we have 3 dogs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's early years while demonstrating strong caregiving skills.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive, loving care tailored to the infant’s developmental needs, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for infants, ensuring dietary guidelines are followed.
- Engage the infant in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, motor skills, and social development.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties.
- Support the child's routine schedules, including naps, playtime,



and outings.
- Assist with gentle teaching moments that encourage curiosity and early learning experiences.
- Adapt caregiving approaches to accommodate any special needs or disabilities the child may have.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with infants and young children in a caregiving or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of safe feeding practices, meal preparation, and basic first aid.
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents or guardians.
- Comfortable working around dogs.
- Certification in CPR or first aid is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
