Effective immediately, a permanent full‑time faculty position (Academic Clinician) is available in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Paediatrics, at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), 555 University Avenue, Toronto, ON, Canada. This academic health science centre is dedicated to the care of children and is affiliated with the University of Toronto.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive clinical care in paediatric nephrology, including CKD/ESKD and renal replacement therapy with dialysis, apheresis, and transplantation.
- Engage in scholarly activities such as quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research projects in a collaborative capacity; a cross‑appointment as a Project Investigator with the SickKids Research Institute will be encouraged and supported.




- Participate in teaching and supervision of learners, with an interest and experience in health professions education.

Qualifications

- Comprehensive clinical training and experience in paediatric nephrology.
- Expertise or a focused interest in transplantation is preferred.
- Must hold an MD, MBBS, or equivalent degree and be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or have comparable qualifications.
- Must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- Excellent proficiency in English.

- Rank and salary range: 275,543 to 340,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
