The Addictions Medicine Consult Team

Nurse provides direct care, collaborates with health professionals, and executes tailored treatment plans aimed at harm reduction. Your efforts will play a crucial role in empowering clients toward recovery. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments and screenings for substance use
- Collaborate on and modify treatment action plans




- Monitor medication administration and responses
- Establish meaningful connections with clients and families
- Participate in quality improvement and planning initiatives

Requirements:

- Current RN/RPN registration with BCCNM
- Minimum of two years of experience with substance use
- Understanding of harm reduction approaches
- Familiarity with community and mental health resources
- Ability to manage crisis situations
