Key Responsibilities
Clinical Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned nursing units, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-focused care.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, supervise, and support nursing staff while promoting professional growth, employee engagement, and high performance.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, provincial healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and infection prevention protocols.
Patient Care Excellence:
Monitor patient outcomes, respond to clinical concerns, implement quality improvement initiatives, and promote a positive patient experience.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Partner with physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative leaders to coordinate care, improve workflows, and achieve departmental objectives.
Resource Management:
Assist with staffing plans, scheduling, budgeting, and the effective allocation of clinical resources to maintain operational efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
3 to 5 years of progressive nursing experience, including 1 to 2 years in a supervisory, charge nurse, assistant manager, or similar leadership role within a hospital or acute care setting.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline. Leadership or healthcare management training is considered an asset.
Licensure:
Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate provincial regulatory body in Canada.
Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams, manage competing priorities, support employee development, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Pay: $6,145.00-$7,068.00 per month
