Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional occupational therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to help clients improve their health and quality of life. Mobile, in-home OT assessments and treatments within the GTA.

Duties

- Conduct client consultations to understand their specific concerns and preferences.
- Conduct client occupational therapy treatment sessions including goal setting, protected ADL modifications, etc.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments.
- Uphold professional standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every client.




- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

- Valid registration/certification as an Occupational Therapist in Ontario
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a relaxing environment for clients.
- Ability to listen attentively and tailor treatments to individual needs.
- Ability to travel to patient's home for treatments in the GTA
- Be in good standing with your professional College
- Additional languages spoken/understood is an asset

Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
