Hour of operation between 6 am and 2 pm, Monday to Friday.

Required Education and Experience

· Food sanitation and hygiene certificate

· Current Security Clearance

· First Aid/CPR

· Commercial kitchen experience

· Time management, prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills

· Strong communication skills

Position Overview

This casual kitchen assistant position is part of a team accountable for providing children, staff,



and occasionally parent’s nutritious meals and to support the education around nutritious foods at the Churchill Park Family Care Society.

The casual kitchen assistant will support the head chef and food service team of a permitted childcare food service kitchen. Duties will include assigned support task (i.e.: cutting, chopping food, washing dishes, maintaining a clean setting, preparing food for deliveries etc.).

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $17.96 per hour
