The Kennedy Eye Clinic & The Eye Studio by Kennedy Eye Clinic teams are looking for someone to work as a part-time licensed optician (or experienced eyewear consultant) between both clinics! This position is ONLY available for experienced people in the eye care industry; if you have front end/pre-test experience and are looking to try out sales, then please feel free to apply as well.

What we need you to do:

· Basic reception duties such as checking in patients, running through insurance, booking appointments, answering phone calls and taking payments

· Do frame selections and complete glasses orders

· Glasses adjustments

· Glasses pickups

· Be able to troubleshoot independently

Qualifications

· You MUST consider yourself to be a people person.

· You need to be able to help patients of all ages and of all backgrounds

· Have a positive attitude and mindset

· Organization and attention to detail is key so you must be able to multi-task

· Be professional yet enthusiastic





· Respond well to constructive criticism

· Must be reliable and a team player

· Must have taken your optician course previously

Hours

· We are looking for someone to work 20-30 hours a week. We are open Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday from 8am-6pm, Thursdays from 9am-7pm, Friday from 8am-5:30pm and Saturdays from 9am-3pm. We are closed every long weekend. You will be expected to work 1-2 Saturdays a month.

Compensation

· Competitive salary based on the level of experience you bring to the team. We offer monthly sales bonuses that are in addition to base pay.
