We are looking for a full time team member. Must be available 8:30am until 7:30pm weekdays, weekends 8:30am-6:30pm and must have a vehicle to drive to work reliably (public transportation not easily accessible at this location so this is a hard requirement)

The Opportunity: Solar Eye Care is a state of the art optometry office. Our mission is to preserve and enhance the gift of sight through excellent eye care, and with 800+ five star reviews we have successfully done that. We deeply care about the culture of the clinic and growth of our team members. We are looking for an extraordinary and outgoing individual to join our team. We are established 2020 in SW Calgary inside the new Costco.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Primary objective is to support the doctors with providing excellent customer service, admin tasks, pretest, keeping them on schedule and clinic growth. There are two main roles done together:
- Reception: Warm greeting, phone handling, booking appointments, answering questions, administrative task related to patient care, payment and scheduling
- Ophthalmic technician: Pretest patients with high tech medical instruments, computer data entry, assist with patient education before and after exam

Computer skills
- Ability to learn new software, majority of time will be on a desktop using applications and using high tech medical instruments- computer proficiency is an absolute must
- Accurate and fast typing skills (50WPM minimum) needed for frequent data entry

Qualifications
- 1 year optometry/ophthalmology clinic with pretest experience (an asset)
- High School Diploma
- Fluent English
- Able to work evenings and one or both weekend days
