Overview Outside Sales position providing technical support for Industrial related PVF products sold by Wolseley within a defined territory. Works under the guidance of the National Sales Manager, Mining, and collaborates with branch and inside sales teams.

- Safety shoe reimbursement Responsibilities - Provide Industrial PVF & technical support to Wolseley customers and associates from your defined working location.
- Ensure timely follow up & reporting on all relevant quotations and log backup emails or conversations related to projects, customer and vendor quotes, with accurate handoff of orders to the inside sales team.
- Complete small/medium sized quotations or hand off large projects with clear guidance to your sales manager at the start of a project.
- Work closely with key vendors in your territory to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships.
- Coordinate all required information for the preparation of final submittals, including plans, drawings and other documents to both end customers and vendors.
- Interpret customer requirements early and match products to customer specifications and drawings while communicating back to the Inside Sales Rep.
- Ensure quotations are technically compatible by communicating with other departments and staff to determine and clarify project requirements.
- Participate in margin discussions where appropriate.
- Gather required data for small to medium sized quote preparation.
- Log data in Salesforce under the opportunity to enable the team access to important information.
- Maintain Salesforce data such as win/loss ratios, sales call information and project plans.
- Maintain a yearly target customer plan with budget goals and targets.
- Attend industry related events on a case-by-case basis as outlined and approved by your manager.
Qualifications - Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role with strong business and customer service background, preferably in an Industrial or technical sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products, intermediate level Excel skills required.
- Sales quotation background a plus.
- Robust ability to work with operational departments and branches following processes.
- Excellent communication, time management and organization skills.
- Ability to travel to various customer locations 3 days a week outside, 2 days inside sales in-branch.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Must be patient, highly organized and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
