Become an Overnight Youth Worker at 360°kids in Markham, ON, supporting marginalized youth. Offer mentoring, crisis support, and life skills training every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. 360°kids is a leader in supporting youth and families in York Region. This part time role in the HOPE Program focuses on helping youth affected by sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
You will use a trauma-informed approach, conducting assessments, facilitating life skills sessions, and providing essential resources while fostering stability. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person assessments with youth to identify needs
- Facilitate life skills sessions and mentoring support
- Provide youth-focused counseling with a trauma-informed approach
- Assist youths in securing suitable housing and community resources
- Document youth interactions and case plan impacts Requirements:
- CYW Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with street-involved youth required
- Valid G driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Current first aid/CPR certification
