Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Packaging Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure productive production processes. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality packaging solutions while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Duties

- Operate packaging machines with precision, ensuring consistent output and quality.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform adjustments as needed.
- Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and product changeovers.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist in setting up machines for different packaging projects, utilizing hand tools and basic math skills.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to meet specifications.
- Maintain detailed logs of production activities, machine maintenance, and any incidents.

Experience

- Previous experience operating packaging machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and machining
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machine setup and product specifications.
- Complete production reports accurately.
- Record machine downtime and production losses.
- Complete batch records and quality documentation.
- Maintain accurate production counts.
- Record maintenance activities performed during each shift.




- Must have work permit

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise.
